SPRING SOIREE UNITES NORTHWEST BUSINESSES FOR NIGHT OF FREE ENTERTAINMENT

Locals Invited for Night of Fashion, Prizes and Music designed at Boosting Business on May 8th

Entrepreneurs are working harder these days to get their name out there and reign in customers. Cross-collaboration is key to drumming up word-of-mouth business in the community. Nine local businesses are coming together to host an event at Cork! Wine Bar in Tacoma, WA. They’re promising an evening of varied entertainment, prizes and information.

“We’ve all taken the opportunity to network with one another and help each other out through this event. With the economy the way it is, we need to scratch each other’s backs so we can all succeed!” Radio Personality and featured business host Tari Free commented.

In addition to promoting her Passion Parties business, Free will be hosting a fashion show featuring works by Halter Hotties, Vixens House of Shoes & Apparel, and Stella & Dot. Recording artist and song writer Casey Frazier will be performing following the fashion show. Music and drinks will go until midnight.

This event will be the first glimpse of the Alice in Wonderland collection by Halter Hotties, creators of one-of-a-kind eco-chic halters made from up-cycled, vintage silk designer scarves and antique buttons. Halter Hotties creations are featured at Vixens House of Shoes & Apparel, 2503 6th Ave., Tacoma, WA. Vixens Owner Ondia Shapiro will also be featuring items from her shop during the show. Rounding out the looks will be jewelry by Stella and Dot. This exciting line of jewelry is quickly gaining fame among those across the country.

Annette Mina, Owner of Seattle Sugar Bar in Federal Way, is excited for the opportunity to network with locals and share the details of her business. Mina operates the only Sugar Bar in Federal Way and while she’s seen quite an increase in local business, looks forward to making room for more.“I’m excited to support other local businesses and spread the word about how sugaring is the best form of hair removal out there,” said Mina.

Local artist, Melissa Prior, will be unveiling her newest addition to her growing wine series. This piece is 4 foot by 6 foot, oil on recycled canvas titled “All in the Family”.

Ace of Dates and My Concierge owner Mary Boisselle is looking forward to sharing more about her unique services with those in the Tacoma area. Ace of Dates provides complete date ideas/itineraries to add fun and variety to your date life and strengthen the connection in your relationship.

Cork! will be providing a wine tasting from 6pm to 8pm and serving signature cocktails all night long. Cork! was voted #1 Wine Bar in Tacoma by readers of The Volcano and took second place in South Sound Magazine’s “Best of the South Sound Wine List.” Their casual atmosphere will make you feel at home and the menu beckons you to return long after your visit.
